Indoor Sporting Facility

With the successful opening of NSCRH Stage 2 at the end of March, the team has been busy completing the design for Stage 3. The tender package for the stage 3 project is expected to be released later in 2026. At the completion of the Stage 3 project, the Northern Suburbs Community Recreation Hub will boast a total of 11 indoor multi-purpose courts, making it the largest indoor sporting facility in the state. The project responds to the request for additional basketball courts for the Northern Tasmania basketball community.

The Stage 3 project has been funded by an $18.3 million State Government funding commitment, bringing the total budget for all three stages to over $60 million, funded through a combination of State and Federal Government funding.

JMG have provided all engineering services for the three stages of this site, including civil, structural and building services.
